I am still doing my Buffy/Angel 20 year anniversary rewatch, of all the media properties that people debate about avoiding entirely or separating the art from the artist due to abuse and such from actors or creators in them, Buffy/Angel is the hardest one for me as they were my first fandoms. At least I'm just watching episodes I already own...

Antony Head didn't see anything but I also found this interview with James Marsters from last year in which he detailed how aggressive Joss Whedon was towards him for being popular with fans

She was 15 when her first season as Dawn aired, it's the one I'm currently watching in my 20 year rewatch, I was already finding Dawn's storyline a lot more deeply affecting than back when I was the same age as her, and now to find out that Joss was so abusive towards Michelle that he wasn't allowed alone with her is a whole other level of upsetting

Just watched the video, good summary and discussion of how people like Joss are allowed to keep working in the industry, and some good points about how continuing to watch the things he was involved in is supporting the actors and crew who worked on them, I think I'll probably be continuing with my 20 year rewatch of Buffy and Angel but I can definitely see that knowing more about the conditions behind the scenes will have an effect on the experience
