if I were any good at games I could see enjoying Dark Souls. I think I'd stand a better chance of creating a robot pal who did it for me

@kara Don't let the fanbase scare you off. They're on the same level as Castlevania. A steep learning curve at the start, then they're pretty easy once it clicks. I mostly recommend DS2: SotFS edition since it's slower, more thoughtful, and less buggy than the others (and the SotFS removes some of the more egregiously DS1-like enemy placements). -Zu

@squirrellilly @kara I can only agree. Same recommandations, and although it seems very hard early in the game, it's simply a matter of getting how to dodge.

...I have to admit that it's also a lot of fear when bosses or ennemies pop around, do unexpected things, etc. I had great times playing it, my brother too, and we are soooo bad at it.

@Lys @kara H*ck yes. The monster designs are terrifying! While the games don't always work perfectly (or even particularly well), their atmosphere and highly-stylized art direction are several notches above tops. -Zu
