my insurance denied the request to cover implanted testosterone pellets, giving the reason of the paperwork submitted didn't demonstrate ~medical necessity~

this insurance covers trans hormones and surgery.

my doctor is going to appeal, but surely not being able to remember (thanks #ExecutiveDysfunction) to apply gel or to have an injection would make it a medical necessity to have implanted pellets?? 😵
