i'm going to port openssl or something to mac os 9 and then i'm going to release the first application for mac os 9 that supports tls1.3 and it's gonna be a really shitty mastodon client

yeah the system libraries don't know about it but does that matter? in a world of raw sockets does an application actually need to use the system libraries? mozilla has nss for that entire reason
