psychiatric abuse, autism
A major problem with the way that we raise autistic children is that abled people do not expect anyone to want to be our friend so instead of teaching us how to handle social relationships in a healthy way we're just taught how to make ourselves most palatable to abled people who do not, and never will, actually care about us as human beings.
We become autistic adults who struggle to maintain friendships with people who actually love us because nobody taught us how.
A silly instance of Mastodon for queer folk and non-queer folk alike. Let's be friends!
