Trying out #Tootdon rn. Nice app, very well-featured. However, this warning I saw on Google Play about Tootdon using their own servers sounds odd.
@porsupah That makes sense. I guess I can trade off for the toot search.
#tootdon lets you follow whole instances. It also lets you add your follows to lists much quicker than at present in vanilla Mastodon. Best Mastodon client I've seen.
@aquarius It's apparently toward improving searchability of toots. A month or so ago, there was a minor kerfuffle about that going around the fediverse, so I dropped the developer a line - apparently they retain a copy of toots for a month, then delete them. (And they're apparently a Mastodon sponsor, per joinmastodon.org, so I'm disinclined to feel they're up to no good)
As for the client, I'm pleased with it - rather elegant. ^_^
