We have arrived at a new beginning, dear reader. Nyx and I began this creative journey well over a decade ago. Change is not only good, but also necessary, it is part of life, and it is integral to creating vibrant art.

Let's be clear, it's not a small task to look after ourselves. It's okay to not always have the energy for all the things that you should be doing for yourself.

So let me help you a little.

Remember to take your meds, hydrate, eat a little something, and stretch.

Above all else marvel at how amazing you are.

Eeek, I'm still finding more things that I need to tweak on the site. I need to write something a little lengthier than what I currently have for the Guest section of the site. I also realized I don't actually have a welcome post written. Thankfully, I have a draft of something that I can take apart and utilize.

I'm slowly publishing some pages
to get a feel for how things will look.

So far, I don't feel overwhelmed.

Two years after @Nyx_Obscura and I started dating, long after they had showed up with a U-Haul, we finally talked about our birthdays.

Nyx was born July 7th, 1976.

I was born July 9th, 1969.

The two of us have gotten very used to the strange confluence of events we live in.

@Nyx_Obscura and I are doing a big push today on getting more stuff done for the site. Very Excited. The first posts will start to go live on Wednesday the 25th at 7:09pm Eastern Canada time.

Why 7:09? Well, there is a funny story to that.

When Nyx and I started dating we both used pseudonyms and never really talked about our legal names let alone our birthdates.

Finally heading off to bed. It was a great session of working on the site. We got a lot of stuff accomplished tonight. As near as I can see launch day is a go.

We opted to create images for each category, post type or page that can remain as images that get utilized again and again for those individual areas.

@Nyx_Obscura really composed some great images, I can't wait to see what they do with the images when they razzle dazzle them.

It's late night photo shoot time as we gather the design elements we need to create the images for my various post series.

@Nyx_Obscura creates all our images and this site layout will really allow their custom images to shine.

I expect the next few days to be a flurry of creation.

We are having a little down time at the moment before getting back into things in a little bit.

My favorite part of being poly is gushing to my partner about a new crush. 😊

It looks like I am pulling an all nighter of some kind, there is still plenty to do to get the site ready for Wednesday.

So I am following my advice, which as you know by now is, say it with me.

Remember to eat, stretch, hydrate and remember to take your meds.

Small steps forward my lovelies.

@Nyx_Obscura and I have been working on the site today. With three days until launch we are finalizing how we want the overall look and function of the site should proceed.

Figuring out which tools we have that will work best was frustrating at first. We landed on the ones that work best for us. We also went through a few Templates/Themes on WordPress, I find it kind of wild how each one manages images in completely different ways.

We seemed to have landed on one we like right now.

I'm watching 'Ghostbusters :Afterlife' while my partner is out with their other partner for a walk.

The movie is rather charming so far

Settling in for some comfort tv, 'Deadwood'. It was either that, 'Hannibal' or 'Flight of the Conchords'. Watching something familiar is always a great way to relax.

oy, "...out at a bar..." not at a bat lols

Goodness, I just realized, I'm not a sad morose drinker anymore. just feel silly and relaxed. Sure if I was out at a bat there is a distinct possibility that I might dance on tables. So once again, transition wins!

I hardly drink anymore. Today's heat felt like a good reason to treat ourselves ( @Nyx_Obscura and I). I am a cheap date, not even finished my first of two beers and I am already a little giddy.

It was hot and humid here in Montreal today. @Nyx_Obscura and I went on a long walk to our library (they had Metroid: Dread for me) and we picked up some books and a game.

Then it was off to the pharmacy for a few things. We happened upon a new line of Revlon nail polish. We picked up a gorgeous yellow.

From there we ventured on to the grocery store and did a small order.

Finally, we are home, we had a bite to eat and a beer each.
